FEES FOR 2008 - FOR ALL UTS CHILD CARE CENTRES
All families are eligible to register with the Family Assistance Office (FAO) for Childcare Benefit (CCB), which is a subsidy available to all families where the parents are working or studying. Families who qualify under the low and middle income means test can receive higher CCB benefits depending on family income, the number of children in care and the number of days attendance per week. The CCB is deducted from the full fee payable at the centre, and parents are required to pay the balance owing. Please enquire at an FAO office (situated in all Medicare and Centrelink offices) for further details of your eligibility and to register for CCB. Families are responsible for fees for permanent bookings for each week that the centre is open, whether the child attends or not. On public holidays no fees are payable.
